LG G6+ is coming out, are you mad you should've waited?

Not bothered by the Quad DAC as it doesn't work with my bluetooth headphones.

128GB storage, I can buy an SD card for the cheaper than the difference in cost between a regular G6 and the G6+.

With the case on my handset I can't tell what colour it is anyway...

Just remember, the difference between between the iphone 6 and 7 is the waterproofing and slightly faster chip. All the isheeps were so happy about the iphone 7..LOL!

32GB to 128GB is a huge jump. Also, 4GB to 6GB.

This isn't the first time something like this has gone down... both LG and Samsung often throw out SK-exclusive models with beefed up specs.

Even if it did come to the US, which it won't, it would also come with a bumped up price tag. Not sure the extra storage (that I didn't realistically need) and an audio chip that I don't really ever use would be worth at least a $100 premium.

I'm in the market for a new phone. Going to be making the switch to Android. The G6 is on the top of my list for currently available phones. If the G6+ were available in the US, I'd probably snap it up.

These things rarely ever come to the US. Its highly unlikley this one will come here. The cost of importing them, the time the G6 has been available here and the current market value of the G6, it wouldnt be wise. Too many other devices have released or are releasing that would take the focus away from a 6+ month old device even if it was an upgrade.

The LG G6 was officially released on April 7, 2017 in the US and Canada which makes it less than 3 months old. If you are counting from the March 10th release date in South Korea then it's less than 4 months old.

That being said, I doubt we see the LG G6+ released in the US. I'm thinking LG will focus on the V30 for the US.

Best predictor of the future is the past.. LG has done this plenty of times in the past few years; One off, special models. I seem to recall a SD805 powered G3 that we never saw here.

I would go bat crazy if I got mad every time a newer phone that I didn't even know was coming got released. My G6 is doing everything I wanted it to do when I bought it, and doing it extremely well. Super happy with this phone!

Yeah, I am mad because calling it The G6+ is a poor marketing move as all it does is confuse folks. I wish they had just released this version from the beginning instead of thinking everyone was just fine with 32gb. Plus having black fronts from the get go would have been nice as well.

Since you can put a 256Gb card in it, not sure why 32GB vs 128GB on the phone would bother you that much. I'm sure if it comes to the US it will be priced higher.

I have a 3 year old Android phone that has 32 GB of internal storage and a 128 GB SD card. I am constantly running out of internal storage. In 2017 I would never consider a phone that only has 32GB of internal storage.

Ugh. I wouldn't let 32 gig keep me from buying an awesome phone. I would buy the phone and then wish it came with at least 64 gig lol
