Ohh, where to start with G6, it has great build, beautiful for holding in hands, great screen to body ratio unlike the HTC, Huawei which is one of the reasons why i refused to buy their phones and Sony aswell, i want a phone not a brick, but they like they don't hear their buyers.
Anyhow back to the G6 battery for me lasts two days or if you want always between 6-8h SoT which is pretty amazing, IP certificat which is something P10 doesn't have. And what is important for me i am always on the run, sometimes during rainy days and i am always on mail, word, excel on the phone, bigger screen is also better for that which P10 also don't provide.
Fingerprint sensor is okay, but i noticed it isn't as fast as it is at some competition phones, but it does it's job.
Both suport fast charging so i have nothing to say on that... Screen is bigger on the G6 and as i remember they are both on IPS LCD. But for me the screen on the G6 is amazing even during extremly sunny days, and the colors are amazing + it has suport for HDR10 and if it is important to your lady it has bigger resolution than the P10.. And beautiful colors on G6.
You get the same phone size but bigger screen on G6 aswell, what else to mention well though it is useless during sunny and over the day G6 has AoD, while P10 hasn't but P10 has LED notification while G6 hasn't and what i honestly miss a lot but fk it.
I think P10 has IR blaster idk not sure also something i miss on the G6..
When it comes to the LGs UIx and Huaweis EMUi i never liked ther EMUi and iOS style menu. + Huawei provides too many OEM apps ( brother has Honor 8 ) i don't like their keyboard while LG for me has one of the best on the market currently. And the UIx is just idk beautiful, easy to use, easy to add extra capacitive buttons and you can navigate them as you wish, will on EMUi you can't do that you only have 3 options and 4 buttons max, while on LG you can have up to 5 and move them by your wishes.
And Capture+ on the G6 is one of the most usefull things they added if you do screenshoots a lot i for ex. do a lot.
Smart Doctor on G6 is very usefull app for cleanning, optimization, diagnostics, testing hardver.. Also face unlock, mini screen, knock code, tap to wake and lock i love that feature..
Camera on G6 is very good for me, wide angle is just an amazing feature.. And manual options have never looked so good on a phone, although i would like to see portrait mode with future updates, something P10 has...
While front facing camera is really poor, it just sucks really.. My brothet told me to get the P10 but idk, i don't like Huawei, they became really great manufacturer as i recall i laughed at them couple of years back. But today they really are great. And i don't think you'll go wrong with any of either phones.
But i do think that the G6 is stronger not that fragile on drops and with last update the phone performs very smoothly, RAM managment is great, SP821 really does the great job. Though SP835 would be nicer to see in it.
So overall my - for the G6 since i had it goes like this.
- no LED notification, no IR blaster, extra storage would be great 64gb but you can get sd card, SP835 would be nice to see, no portrait mode, poor front camera, and AoD is usefull only during cloudy days and night, since i don't care about wireless charging but some may miss it.
And idk what else to say.
If you decide the G6 buy her the white one. She will love it.
