LG G6: Which color do you prefer? Ice Platinum or Black

No hate, i just said I didn't like the curved corners. Lol if you do look at what I said.. also, I did say I held it. But ultimately it was cheaper this way cause I was still paying the higher monthly price for the v20 and I needed to upgrade my wife so I saved where I can..I also can switch back to the "cheaper" V20 if I wanted.. lol cheat the system a little

I was holding out a little hope with the picture forum that I started... But when I went to T-Mobile I took better pictures than what people were posting in here so I changed my mind.

It's pretty good. The Pixel wins in some areas but I have to say for my uses the wide angle lens is amazing. I really am enjoying it a lot especially at my nephew's party.

I did the swap because I was able to sell the Pixel for a good amount, traded in an old G5 a buddy gave me which then gave me credits which basically means Verizon is paying the G6 for me, and try an LG phone. I tried them in then past with the G4 for awhile but now I can with the G6.

Really liking it so far. I can say this phone seems to like the Verizon signal better than my Google Store Pixel XL.

Signal strength is something LG is good at. If you like this phone, I'm sure you'll like the v20, in some very recent reviews I found, the v20 camera actually beats this one which is only slightly surprising. I honestly got a little tired of big phones without even noticing it.

Sounds like you got a rad deal.. going to try to get a couple of bucks from my wife's G5. It's in perfect condition.

I'd have to see the two colours up close and in-person to decide, but based off of the photos, I do like the Ice Platinum colour.

I would say battery life (that may be due to it being on 7.1 + which has some battery optimizations), the camera still handles moving objects better, and with the Pixel I just really enjoyed the constant updates. That 3rd is more a me thing though .

That'll work. They are giving me so much due to a promo that was happening for swapping to them and unlimited data. I swapped from T-Mobile. Never thought I would but I actually pay less... So since I saw no negatives (more coverage, less cost, promo for free phones) I decided to swap. Verizon is paying for my G6 and also the gf's iPhone 7 Plus, buddies LG V20, and a S8 that will be on pre order shortly.

My case came in today. My wife got the notification that it came in the mail just as we were pulling out of the driveway. This phone is meant to be used without a case, because with one, it doesn't feel as great in the hand. It's perfect without one and feels sturdy regardless. G6 is awesome

I was a nexus fan all the way up til about 4 years ago and I do miss the quick update releases.. So ya. I get it.

So, I take it that all that have a preference on color don't use any type of case? If you have a case on your phone, what difference does it make what color? Just my thoughts.

Was on vacation out of the country and pre ordered the S8+ on vacation. Now back home and couldn't resist not buying the G6, so walked into a T-Mobile store and was out within 5 minutes with a brand new ice platinum G6 and tech 21 clear case to go along with it

I'd probably go with black, complete with a DBrand Hyperblack Titanium skin on the back.

I really like how the front looks with the black bezel. When the display is switched off, it looks great.

I personally like the Platinum but the light frame and the black dead space between the frame and the lit screen drives me crazy so I am leaning towards getting the Black one. Already have a nice Black case for it.

My original idea was to purchase the Black one and get a skin, but I couldn't get past the image and presumed annoyance that constantly putting it in my pocket would damage the skin's edges and make the whole thing look cheap. So, Platinum for me, and a Ringke Air case on the way.
