I disagree, if LG priced their phone too low, they will be viewed as a "generic" brand (which some people still have that idea, but ironically LG made the "premium" Pixel 2 XL). $750 seems fair considering the new features and hardware.. the Note 8 was over $1000 and the iPhone X was like $1300, Huawei P20 Pro is officially $1,131.70, the S9+ is around $840-$930 but really was pretty much the same phone as the S8 with very little improvements such as slo-mo. Consider the new tech built inside: a Quad DAC (those other flagships could only dream of having that), still has a 3.5mm jack, new BoomBox sound chamber, a new 16MP wide angle camera, new low-light camera, extra button on the side, wireless charging. They are probably taking a lower profit for it like always and is investing in trying to get people's attention that they have a great phone.
If you want a cheaper cost, just get the V30, probably you can get it a lot less than $750, still in stock. But comparing to other flagships, I think it's alright. Stop viewing LG as a cheap phone, they are made in South Korea (except the battery), a very advanced tech country. Huawei, Apple (Foxconn), OnePlus are made in China (no offense).
