LG l34g lock screen camera

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to remove the camera widget from the lock screen. I have had multiple times where I pull out my phone and have over 100 pictures of nothing because the camera can be opened even if the screen is locked. I removed the icons and I can add another widget but I don't want any at all. My $28 phone is not rooted, but I will if that is the only way to get rid of the widgets. Or will a downloaded lock screen override the widgets option?

Welcome to Android Central! I believe that many of the 3rd party lockscreen replacements on Google Play should allow you to exclude the Camera from the lockscreen. Give a few of them a try.

Can you recommend some apps? I have been searching through a lot and most of them have ads that make the app pointless because it overrides the lock. Others have glitches that make them only work of you opened the program every time you turn off your screen. Both are completely useless. I haven't found one that actually works.
