LG Leon stuck after factory reset

My LG Leon was rooted and I tried to perform a factory reset, the problem is that it's stuck on the checking for updates screen. Is there any way possible for me to fix this or is it essentially soft bricked?

Did you factory reset in settings or in recovery? Did you have a custom recovery?

Do you have a nandroid backup? Custom recovery?

Im having a similar problem with my LG Power and after reseting my phone I havent been able to get past the "Just a sec..." screen. Is there a fix for this?, If so please help. Thank you.
