lg optimus l9 should I root?

I have lg l9 and I have low memory, been thinking about rooting. So I can put apps on my ad card. But how do u root l9. And what are the advantages and disadvantages.

Root gives you full control over your device. You can then basically do everything (things like put apps on SD card, make backups of all apps, ...). But you have to be careful over what you install or do. It CAN harm your phone but it doesn't do that necessarily.

this might be out of place but this is the only thing i could find related i just bought a klu by curtis android 4.1.1 jelly bean and i need to know how to root it i tried z4root but it did not work if somebody could email me an answer it would be greatly appreciated straightjacket93@gmail.com
