LG Thrill or wait for mysterious HTC Holiday

Should I wait for the Holiday (which is a long time to wait ) , or should I just get Thrilled? Do you think the devs will be able to give it Ice Cream Sandwich or if it will have enough community backing? Just looking for some thoughts and good ole' Android talk!

Well the thrill is LG not Sammy so no touchwiz there. Maybe like touchwiz is what you ment.
From a quick glance at the specs again I would say the Holiday would be my pick. The thrill looks to be a great phone, has the 3D but the Holiday is 4.5 inch and 1.2ghz dualcore over the 1ghz dualcore.
But depending on how much you need a new phone and how long will it take for the holiday to come out. If you need to get 1 then grab the thrill. If time is on your side then wait.
You wont go wrong with any of these choices. good luck.

The only downside for the thrill is the battery is suppose to last no more than 4 hours. Thrill is a great phone though. For the holiday its suppose to be LTE and who knows when ATT will release LTE with phones.

I'll probably go with the Thrill so I can finally ditch my 3Gs instead of waiting six months. Who knows? I may even go with the Atrix. I just want to get rid on my aging iOS device for an awesome Android device.

I'm waiting out the Holiday - the specs look amazing and after using my wife's Infuse I don't think I could go with any screen that is smaller. I also haven't bought into the whole 3D thing yet...

I don't care anything more about the 3D other than the "that's neat" factor.I just hope it gets some love from ROM developers.

I love my Atrix. If you really wanna get away from iOS, trade it for an Atrix if you can, hold on to the Atrix, then get the Holiday when it comes out. Maybe you can trade the Atrix plus a little cash for the Holiday.

About 30-45 days if everything goes ok longer if it does not. I am interested in the AT&T July 12th holiday preview for up coming devices.

My upgrade doesn't come due till the end of October. Hopefully, the Holiday (or whatever AT&T names it), will be out and known by then. The specs leaked so far look killer. I am so tired of dealing with my snake spit slow BB 9700. After seeing what my friends do with their droids (regardless of carrier), and, especially, what my wife can do with her Inspire, I can't wait to go Android. I just want the hottest thing available at the time from HTC. The other vendors do not (LOL) inspire me.

if you want my oppinion. don't get the newest phone if you are going to android, the newer phones have glitches and errors that don't get resolved right away.

the only reason i chose the continuum from my blackberry storm with my mid-contract upgrade (i have another one in january) is because it was cheap and i was already used to how a touchscreen worked (as i said, blackberry storm), gave that one to my brother in-law (who is going to ruin the software with as much crap he puts on it because he likes to pretend to be a developer when infact he is on a pre-paid plan with 150mb/s of data

no bing isnt the default the only time bing gets on touchwiz is when us carriers put it on. Look at the international gs and gs2 neither have bing.

Verizon has an advertising agreement with bing, that's why.
root the phone and you can take it off....like i did.

I won't be a wet - new droid user when I get that Holiday. My wife has an HTC Inspire, we both have android based e-readers, and I have a bunch of friends with android devices, one of whom is a VERY skilled coder. I also read in the news posts today that HTC is getting their act together on getting bug fixes out in a more timely manner (Are All You Other Hardware Vendors Listening????). Sure, I'll have things to learn but I won't be totally clueless going in (Thank God!).

LOL, Think of some of these folk who go from a totally dumb flip phone to a Holiday or Thunderbolt. Now, That's Clueless!
