LG UI 4.0 on G6

Hey guys, this is my first post here. Ive got a brand new G6 and noticed that to have the app drawer I had to download a launcher type app to my phone. So, I did as I saw in various tutorials and all it worked fine to me. But the question that bothers me is: Why it automatically downloaded the 4.0 version? althoug it looks pretty much as all the stock phones ive seen on internet. Shouldnt be the 6.0 version of LG launcher? If so, whats the diference between them?

Im from Brazil and im asking here because I there are no lg g6 owners on foruns here. Yet.

By the way Im very happy with my purchase.

The app drawer is built in the display settings as the poster above mentioned.

It's easy to switch, the guys gave you the steps you need if you want to stick with stock. I always use Nova and I save my settings.

I did that, but instead of "app drawer" its named UI 4.0. Well, its working pretty well and I guess this is something about a brazilian version of the phone or something like that. Thanks everyone.

No, LG phones everywhere come loaded without an app drawer by default. We all had to enable it.

I mean, not mine. I had to download it. And it appears like UI 4.0 And its in portuguese by the way. UI 4.0 isnt a bit old to be on a G6 ??

Did you try the LG smartworld store?

nothin in the LG store, I gave up, I tried some launchers but none of them fits the screen perfectly. Either the wallpaper show some bug as I roll sideways or the menu looks weird. Im using it stock now, whitout the app drawer.
