LG V10 Marshmallow Update - When will we see it?

Issues? What kind? And who said?

I said "may". I didn't say there were specific issues. I don't know anything for sure. I'm not aware of any. I'm only noting what seems to be an unusually long delay. That's all.

Most likely the second screen on the V10 is what's causing the delays. Its an assumption only.

Verizon announced the MM update for the Note 5 and M8 today. I am hoping our device isn't that far now!

Every time another phone from Verizon gets marshmallow before the V10 I die a little inside. It's just like my Icon all over again...

I don't think there is a delay in the release. I think LG started working on MM for the V10 either in November or December.

With the V10 launching around the time of MM's official launch, LG had no choice but to ship with Lollipop because they didn't want to delay the launch of the V10.

I think they thru MM to the back burner until later so that they could focus on the launch of the V10 and getting MM on the G4.

I think if the V10 had launched a month or two earlier, we would see MM by now, or if LG had waited a month or two later to launch, it would have shipped with MM. But obviously they needed to start selling devices.

Marshmallow will come to MY V10 no earlier than 3-4 months after y'all get it and try it out and complain about what's broken.

Then again, it may never come to my V10. My only gripe is the Bluetooth that cuts out periodically. If that's the worst problem I have, I may stay where I am. I've been there before with updates that completely trashed my phone.

My carrier, TMO, has had it for over a month when it began testing and adapting it. But TMO isn't showing any progress on it. Maybe they're just too busy with all their other phones to take care of business with the V10. No reliable word exists.

Actually T-Mobile just shows that it's in manufacturer development and not that T-Mobile is in the process of testing it.

However, I never saw the G4 move to T-Mobile testing. It was at manufacturer development and then showed completed when they announced the OTA.

I don't think T-Mobile is very diligent about keeping up with that software release page.

I think you're right. If you try to open specs for the V10, it says Not Available.

Well it will probably come in about a week, since I am about to order the S7 Edge.

I assume a day or two after I actually have the S7 Edge in hand.

And then there is the Verizon factor... Either the updates run 6-8 months late or they never come at all.

My V10 worked just great on Lollipop 5.1.1.

My only complaint is how easily the MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6, Procedure IV "Transit Drop" tested phone's screen shattered with a Zagg Glass screen protector and Casemate Leather Wallet/Portofolio case wrapped around it...

They tested it on two layers of plywood on concrete 26 times according to that standard... Really? Mine shattered the very first drop with all that protection wrapped around it.

I am appalled...

It's rolling out now :)
