LG V10 Marshmallow Update - When will we see it?

LG is still in launch mode with the V10.
They are still advertising heavy and offering promos.
The priority with the LG V10 support team is to find and fix any bugs or known issues and get updates out.
MarshMallow is of little concern at this point.

I make a decision to purchase a phone based on how it is at launch. Often times I don't like how updates change the phone I purchased. I wait to get reviews on any update before accepting (like the current Verizon V10 update).
Those that have to have the latest update as soon as it is released by Google should probably get Nexus or some type of jump program where they can switch phones every few months or so.

The current Verizon V10 update has solved the FP sensor issue big time. No reason to hold up on this update!

Only had my V10 a week. Had a G4 prior which got the infinite loop bug.

Obviously software is very similar. Hardware also is similar. Could be a placebo effect but the V10 feels like it just runs better and smoother. Whether it's the camera, radio reception, battery life, playing games and all the other things we do with our phones. I had no intention of getting the V10 but when my G4 died I was offered a replacement G4 or a V10 and I really liked what I saw in the V10 and where LG is finally heading with their phones.

I've had a lot of phones and this package is really pretty damn good. Bravo to LG on this one.

That said the next version of Android hopefully comes with few to no bugs. I can see them adding a little more functionality to the 2nd screen. Hopefully the carriers push for this update as the phone seems to be selling well.

All stuff are smoother simple because it has a 4GB RAM vs 3GB on the G4

I'm not sure if that's the sole factor. The Nexus 6P has only 3 GB and it runs smooth as butter as well.

That's because its a Nexus and doesn't have any skin or crapware on the device like all OEM does

There aren't any CURRENT promos for free items, are there? I bought mine last week but didn't see any active promos....

I'm not referring to just free items. LG still has a high level of advertising on the V10 and $100 off on Verizon.

This is the one I availed of when I bought it right before Christmas from Verizon.
"lgphonerebates.com/holidayrebate" (sorry links not allowed yet for me)

Seems there ain't no more promos ongoing, it guess it marks the end of holidays. There will be some I am sure before the G5 is out.

Where did you get this information or how did you come to this Conclusion?

Verizon pushed out the fingerprint update pretty quick and maybe they will follow suit with the MM update. ;)

Like later this week.............;)
