LG V20 Touch Screen acting up any fixes?

[Android Central Question]

I have an LG V20 (LG-H910) And the phone seems to work fine exceot the touchscreen likes to act like its long pressing whenever I press the screen sometimes
for example if I press on an app to open it itll think my finger is still there and try to move the app somewhere, or pressing backspace on the keyboard will think mh finger is still there and erase everything I typed, Im hoping its a software issue and was thinking I could root it and put CFW on it and run a custom rom, im really hoping I don't have to replace the digitizer. Any help would be muuch apppreciated thanks!
