What are secret folders? You can hide folders on any phone by putting a "." in front of the folder name.
I had no clue about that. How do u even do it?

I'm with you on the note 7 being hard to replace with any phone, and I too prefer TouchWiz and the screen is awesome, but I'm going to try and hold on to the v20 til the note 8 comes out hopefully.
People always get on Samsung for lagging, but I have experienced lag with this v20 also.
I haven't had any lag on my V20. I just sit there and swipe screens 'cause I am amazed at how it has no lag.....lol. I use this app called Medscape alot. Since I got the N7 it's been a pain to open up, I even uninstalled and re-installed on the N7. I thought this whole time something was wrong with the app. Well it is butter smooth on the V20. I really can't complain. I will say though that every single Note that I have owned I experienced lag on them. It just never really bothered me.

Look I feel the Note 7 was a great experience as well. I also realize any phone could catch on fire at any time, however it is just not smart to tempt fate. It is an odds game and if the stories are true odds are greater with the Note 7 that something bad could possibly happen. Form factor, s-pen, waterproofing, vibrant screen are not worth it. I think it is irresponsible to possibly put innocent people at risk because you want to hang on to some features.
Did you have a Note 4 before, I'd just like to know if the V20 is better than N4 to at signal. I may be getting a V20 next week. You should be happy with signal for LTE. The V20 makes the Note 7 seem like an iPhone 4 being held wrong. You do not notice it in a strong signal area. Ignorance is bliss otherwise.
I've noticed that most people that made the switch to the V20 from the Note don't even miss the S-Pen.
I haven't flown since Sept 11...refuse to be violated by TSA perverts! I don't mind juggling phones; it's apparently pretty easy with Verizon. Also; had I known all this... I wouldn't have given back my Note 4 to Verizon.
I've hardly had mine all but a couple hours but having both side by side (as I type on my note and the v20 is synching data from cloud backups) I'm still trying to convince myself that the N7 is probably just going to have to go back sooner than later. Having had it for 2 months now, it definitely is not the same but there are some really great perks to the V20. Although it's minimally larger, I do have to get used to the increase in size... I'll get there. Already have switched my SIM and am going to make it my primary device as long as I can to see if I can live with it.
Even the rep at AT&T that helped me today said if he were in my shoes, he would keep the N7 and just buy a cheap backup device in case of failure or the event that I travel and can't bring it with me. Having a store representative tell me that makes it even harder to give it up "
*sheds tear*

I'm not giving it up just yet....when they brick it or if they do that 60% battery charge or if they start charging me for the phone....then I will....lol. In the meantime I will stay between the 2. I'm not about to fly anytime soon. So remains to be seen what will make me give up the N7. I do like the LG V20 I just prefer all the features of the N7. And I feel the price tag was more justified on the N7 than the LG V20.
That's so interesting. When I first bought my Note Edge, I thought for certain I'd use the stylus for everything, and then ended up hardly ever taking it out. With the V20, I don't even miss having a stylus.I guess I'm lucky I never had a Note? Because I think it is a great phone. haha.. To each his own for sure, I think it might grow on you. My boss has had a phone from the Note line for maybe the last 5 or 6 years and he has never used the stylus that comes with it.
I don't miss it, I used it but not that much. I really liked it on the N7. It was refined and finally on point.I've noticed that most people that made the switch to the V20 from the Note don't even miss the S-Pen.
You are more likely, FAR more likely, to injure someone with your car going to the grocery store... better start hitching up the horse and buggy again! You don't *have* to drive a car to the store... but it's a lot nicer. You're risking other people's safety every time you do.
Nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day. An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled. More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among young adults ages 15-44.
again, perspective... it's all about perspective...![]()
Comparing a car to a cellphone is a far reach. <snip>
the Note 7 no longer exists
The Note 7 in my hands says otherwise
