Re: If the V30 loses it Headphone Jack, will you still buy it?

While I generally use Bluetooth headphones, I do like wired ones when the Bluetooth ones die in the middle of my workout. I would probably look elsewhere but it wouldn't be a complete deal breaker.
Yes the charging is an issue lol. I don't like my current pair but they'll work for now. I have to remember to keep them charged up so they're ready when needed.

I don't think I would've bought it regardless. I think I'm going to do an LG Samsung combo and keep the V20 and get the Note 9(fall 2018)/Galaxy S9 next year. That way I'll always have an excellent back up phone in the V20 and have the option to switch up things with my Jump plan on T-Mobile.

It might end up like the iphone where you can (through an adapter?) use the charging port... but that seems like such a hassle.

They won't lose the headphone jack a year after offering quad DAC. Especially after launching the G6 also available with quad DAC in Korea and also with headphone jack

Re: If the V30 loses it Headphone Jack, will you still buy it?

For me no headphone jack isn't an issue on any phone. Mainly because I use BT whenever playing audio from the phone and I am not an audiophile so quality isn't a huge notch on my list.

I love listening to my BT Sony cans but I prefer IEMs for daily use and the wired are def better than any BT sets that I've experienced. Anyone know any superior/HQ BT IEMs?

I don't see LG coming up with DAC just to abandon it in their premiere phone. So, until we know differently, why is this even a matter for discussion? Cart before the horse.

I might end up snagging a V20 for backup later, when that price drops some. Planning to do 7edge on JOD

What's your daily driver now?

I couldn't care less about a headphone jack. Every phone can get rid of it.

Well I just sold my Note 5, picking up 7edge tonight for daily driver. Will jump out of it either for S8 or Note 8, depending on the release day true specs

Oh so you're still kinda hopping around. I'm settled in with this bad boy barring any bootloop issues which I believe to have been remedied. I'll just sit and watch(and go into the stores for hands-on) all these exciting new devices be released and my guess is that by the fall of next year there will be a buffet of excellent phones to choose from and begin the fun of upgrading every year or so.

Once I bought Bluetooth headphones I've had no reason to use the jack.

I tell you what. If LG V2p had Samsung Payment abilities I'd have that as my daily driver no arguments there. Great phone

Are they really that good? I've thought about at least trying these services out with the V20 but I haven't gotten around to it yet. What makes the Samsung payment system great as I've never used any form of mobile payments yet?

Samsung Pay will work everywhere there is a place to scan a card, no matter what type of card terminal it is. No need for tap and pay signs to look for, none of that. Mines worked at car washes, old department store keyboard card readers, tablet Square little plastic readers, restaurants with monitor card readers, you name it. It works. LOVE IT.

Oh and Samsung Pay you can use as credit or debit, and you can get cash back. Also, Samsung Pay earns points you can collect for Prepaid visa gift cards and other stuff. It's just awesome.
