So far, I am very pleased with the LG V30 from the battery, sound, camera, and display perspectives.
The double bonus of getting the $200 plus the VR headset was why I got the LG V30... I also got a trade in of $70 for my old smartphone from Verizon, so that was even better.
NOTE: I was considering the Google Pixel 2 XL.

It depends...its a decent deal right now but if you wait a few months it might be cheaper if it doesn't do well. I have the V20 and I'm using the V30 right now. The audio in this thing is incredible. Didn't think they could improve on the V20 Quad DAC but they did. I my case I'm going to get a Pixel 2 XL and use the V20 as a media device. Im going to return the V30 and wait till it drops in value.

I think my XL2 probably had a bad display. I have it on my v30, but only at extreme angles. With the XL2 I had, it was visible when only slightly off direct viewing. When I put the XL2 on a desk and looked down at while sitting at my computer, it looked like a piece of blue cellophane was on the screen.

I like stock Android, that would be the main reason why I would switch back. I weigh that against other things I like about the v30 such as the headphone jack and battery life. The v30 is also slightly smaller due to not having the stereo speakers which is nice as well.

I've had the phone since it released early last month and I'm very happy with it. If you itching to upgrade then don't wait and miss out of the rebate. Sure it might go down but the $200 is guaranteed.
I never used a V10 or V30 but that's because they were way too big. This phone is the perfect size in my opinion. I came from the Nexus 5x and the two phones are just about the same size but this phone is all screen. Very happy.

It's a good deal with the freebies. More than likely, this will be one of the phones that have Black Friday and holiday deals attached. However, as others mentioned, that's not a guarantee and it's possible the savings wouldn't be as generous. Also, it could be a BOGO deal, which, for some, is pointless (especially since it usually requires opening another line, thus increasing the monthly bill).

They are low impedance, however with the Noise Cancellation active it bumps up the impedance so I have full amp output. The beauty of the AT noise cancellation is that it doesn't impact the sound profile because the Noise Cancellation isn't as strong. I like the fact that they drown out most of the Noise but I'm still aware of my surtoundings.

I'm debating between those 2 now but I'm thinking about the promo for the V30. I still have a week till my upgrade so I need to hurry up and decide.

The camera is great if you are a manual shooter. Auto is good except in some low light conditions. LG tends to over process the pictures from what I'm seeing

Just FYI, but the V10 trade in at Verizon is $96. So you can get nearly $300 back right there with the promo. Plus sell that VR for whatever its worth.
Like already mentioned, i'm thinking the black friday deal will just be BOGO, which is pointless for me. Sprint has that promo right now on the + model.
