LG ZTE tracfone will not unlock

[Android Central Question]

I have a tracfone ZTE that I've been using for a few years. Went to unlock this morning and it keeps saying wrong passcode (after 30 trys)!! Have not changed the code since 6 mos. ago and know I am using the right one. It won't even bring up the reset option through my google account. Please help as I don't want to lose all my data. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, there isn't mcuh that we can suggest. Google's Find My Device won't let you remotely change the PIN -- it will only remotely create a PIN for a device that didn't have a screen lock set up to begin with.

Which ZTE phone do you have? You could see if it's possible to boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition.
