Be glad you have a gallery. All the LG apps except for the phone and contacts aren't there. Could you please send your gallery's apk to drive from a file manager and share it with me?

Hello there! I thought I was the only one having this problem! I would like to ask for some help regarding the V20 of my fiancee. We both got the v20 last November 2016. My v20 is fine and I love it. However, my fiancee's V20 is not. After a 5 days of use, her v20 cannot play videos in you tube, facebook and even in the default gallery app with an error message "this file is not supported". An error message saying "an error has occurred" appears when she tries to record a video using the camera app. The music player also has the same problem. We noticed that this error can only be resolved by restarting the phone. We did a factory reset twice but the problem persisted. We returned the phone to the retail store and they replaced it with a new v20 (2nd unit). But after 3 days of using the phone, the same problem occurred. Again, we returned the phone to the retail store and they replaced it with a new one (3rd unit). Now, after a day of using it, the same problem occurred. I was wondering if she just got a bad batch of V20s so we exchanged phones. Now, she's been using my V20 and after 2 days of using it, the same problem occurred. Her V20 (the one I'm using) has no problem at all. So, I concluded that there is really no problem with the phone itself. Please help us determine what really is the problem. This is very mysterious.

Is there a particular file or app your fiancée uses on her V20 that you don't on yours?

Are the video files on Internal Storage or the SD card? If the latter, then see if this ever happens with videos on Internal Storage. It might be an issue with your SD card.

We even tried not using a micro SD card coz we thought that it was the micro SD card that was causing the problem. But still, the error persisted at random times even without the micro SD card installed.

Try also booting into Safe Mode, which can narrow the culprit down to something you installed vs something preinstalled or the system: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-32496. In Safe Mode, you'll only be able to test preinstalled apps like the stock Gallery app or YouTube.

today, the error occurred again. I thought that the problem was with my fiancee's google account or facebook account so she changed the password of all her accounts. However, the problem still persisted. I don't understand this anymore.

So I've been having this problem for a month now. I been trying to read as much as possible on it and been living by just restarting the phone but I came across a post right now saying that Google+ app might be the cause.
Does you fiancee have Google+ installed in her phone? If so, ask to uninstall it and reboot then see if the problem persist.
Let me know if it works for you please.

Google+ is not installed on her phone. She doesn't even know that Google+ existed. Lol... Until now the problem still persists. There were days that she had to restart her phone several times just to fix this problem. If you find any other ways of solving this problem for good, please let me know. Thank you.

This thread is not yet solved unfortunately. My fiancée is still experiencing this problem at random times. It's quite frustrating owning a high end device like v20 and having a buggy performance even after several replacements. I don't even understand if this is caused by the phone itself or by any app or by her social media accounts because when we exchanged phones (me using her "buggy v20" and she using my "not buggy v20"), the problem persisted and it occurred on my "not buggy v20", while her "buggy v20" came out fine. This is crazy.

I have the same problem. The motherboard was alrrady replaced by lg and still this issue persisted.

But when i disabled google music forbsome reason i am not experiencing the issue for the past 2 days. Not sure if this really fixed it will have to check if the issue comes back. So far so good

You should be able to use Google music though and not have this problem.

Did I find the solution to the problem because I have the same problem

Has ANNNYONEEE figured this out? When i call my provider for the exact same issues everyone has said they walk me through and make me delete all cache and storage info on all google related apps. Its friggin ridiculous. Shouldnt have to do that to use this phone. I also am on my 3rd device and same problem every time. I cant even play my visual voicemail. Nothing will play at all
