LGV20 wont play any form of video (from gallery or stream) at random times.

When you get the new phone do you copy video or music files on it from previous phone? I wonder if you have a corrupted file.

You've tried clearing phone cache in recovery right?

I didn't see anyone specifically say that they were able to reproduce the problem in Safe mode. That would be the first thing to try to narrow down the issue. (Of course, entering Safe mode requires a restart, which apparently solves the problem for some amount of time, so someone will have to be patient enough to operate in Safe mode for awhile.)

I had this problem for several months and tried all of the fixes on this thread (and many others) with no luck. I finally figured out the cause for me. I removed the SD card completely and restarted the phone. With the SD card removed, all video, especially streaming, is working perfectly again. No idea if this was a defective SD card or a mounting issue. Hope this helps.

Same issue. Most ridiculous fix...I had to set my time to be 'automatic' rather than hard set. Immediately all video everywhere (hulu, netflix, youtube, etc.) started working.
