Especially with stuff like calibration, which I think is probably needless (the article only mentions it in reference to computers).

Really great article. Cleared up some of the different things I've heard over the years. I knew about the shallow charges, but I was unaware that letting the battery drain completely once a month was more reserved for laptops. And it was interesting to find that the charge cycle can be the sum of multiple charging sessions. Very useful information.
