Liberty. 07 Is Up And Running!!!

Good everyone seems to be caught up. Now we can sit back annd enjoy it Oh I do have 07 its just sayin 06 in some spots(even after the re-boot method mentioned earlier). Thats ok cuz im sure .08 will be arriving soon enough

None of the Blur widgets ever work for me after adding them with the Liberty customizer, so I'm going to wait until a final version before installing again.

I was having the same problem. Mainly with the contact widget. Works now like a charm.

I can't say I don't use them. But glad I'm back on liberty!

Does .07 fix the force close problem with Swiftkey and Swiftkey X Beta?

I got no idea, I have never used Swiftkey...let me download it and I will post with the results...

EDIT: Swiftkey Beta works!! I finish the installation process and I sent 10 text and wrote a short email and no FC's.

Quick question:

What's your battery life like on this ROM so far?

I have the extended battery from Motorola BH6X and I Overclocked it now to 1080 max. Been running it for a day now and from 7am to 7pm I end up with 20%, Aside from the usual, Auto-Display, no sync, no Bluetooth, No GPS, etc...its there a way I can improve the battery life?

Also since I know I asked you this before:

If you are running Liberty GB, what other apps are there to freeze or get rid off with Titanium Pro?

Thanks!!

I have the Gorilla Gadgets 3500mah battery and Juice Defender. Batt set to turn data off after 15mins of inactivity from 5p-5a. I rarely use wi-fi, never use GPS and Im overclocked to 1305. My usual usage is texting, random web browsing and app browsing w a few phone calls thrown in. On a heavy usage day at 100% in the morning when I wake up for work, I will be down to about the 20% mark by the time I go to bed late at night. On a light usage day I can make it quite a bit longer. The ROM doesnt eat up as much as you may think I have noticed. Usually its display(mine is auto), background apps such as Lookout or a screenshot and general usage.

The best way to learn what apps to freeze/remove in Titanium is to research them AND use the helpful legend in the settings menu. It will icon code all apps for you. Another easy app remover to use with a good color code system is System App Remover (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.danesh.system.app.remover&feature=search_result) Thats honestly how Ive learned Titanium. Make your backups cuz in time mistakes will be made. I do think, and this is my general opinion, that most system apps dont really need to be disabled or removed because they arent detrimental to your device unless they are specifically causing a problem. Like an app that has its own notifcations. Just turn off the notifications, and keep the app.

Overall Liberty has been one of the top ROMs for a while now because it is built device specific, unlike a Blur ROM, which is across a broad spectrum of devices. It handles itself very well on the X and I am very happy. Enough that I made a $5 donation to jrummy just last nite to say thanks and keep it up.
Ok Im done, back to work, lol

One thing I do anytime I flash a new rom is to reset battery stats. I find it helps because it's reading more accurately.

Ok. I installed Juice Defender, charge the battery 100%, erased the battery stats.

Let's see how it does after I drain the battery later on today...

Also do not get me wrong, with my past set up, Froyo, Rubix and Stock Rooted Gingerbread can't compare to the battery life I been getting from Liberty...

Might take a charge cycle or two to even out. But with everything should see a noticeable difference

Posting this here as it involves Liberty to an extent,
I go into Rom Manager(I rarely ever do) and downloaded Drew Garen's Broodcomb keyboard and install it. My phone boots back up to the lock screen which finally says Liberty .07(so does Setting clickie, about phone). But the keyboard is not under Language and Keyboard, instead I have two Gingerbread Keyboard entries w settings. See below
