Liberty 2.0.1 Lockscreen Help

So I have updated to Liberty V2.0.1 and I have one nagging problem. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disable the slide unlock. I managed to disable it in Liberty V1.5 but I cannot find a setting in the new version. I would like to get rid of the slide unlock but still keep my patten lock. Is there anyone that can help?

Where in Liberty froyo did you disable it. Maybe those clues will lead us because this would be good for somme to know. I know back on eclair w the X you could use a file explorer to change the apk for the slide lock to akp.bak or something and that would disable it but permanently, couldnt switch it back to just .apk. That was the rumor, I was still rocking my Dinc back then

As far as I know none of the roms are able to disable the slide to unlock option, the best thing that works is NoLock from market...

@jerseyboy357 - Thats part of the problem, I have removed the slidelock from Liberty 1.5 so long ago that I don't even remember the steps on how to do it. I'm pretty sure it was just a menu option and I didn't have to change file names or anything. As for V2.0.1 I have looked in every nook and cranny in the settings and I can't find an option to turn off the slide unlock. Unless I'm missing something.

@wildman - I have looked into these widgets, they are nice however I only want to remove the slide unlock. I still want to be able to lock the phone with either a pin or pattern lock. To my knowledge these widgets don't allow this.

I just tried it on my X and can verify for my device it works. Pressing the power button brings me right to my desktop, no lock screen. This was after having the screen off for 5mins. I read about this app yesterday but alot of people said it wouldnt work, but once again, my X FTW! Thanks Wildman

9hrs later and still no issues with NoLock. Just push power and back to my homescreen. Looks like the app is gona stick. Go X!

This still doesn't help me. I want to keep the pin/pattern lock, however I want to remove the slide unlock. The only thing this app does is remove the lock process.

So, can anyone help me remove the slide to unlock screen but keep the pin/pattern lock screen?

As far as my knowledge since 2.2 Froyo update the option for the slide to unlock couldn't be disabled in the menus.... I would like to know how you was able to work around this also..
