Ok so I went into nightlies to get v .05 and it said to get that before getting the 591 kernel update. So after downloading and installing .05, the touch the android to begin stage begins and when it gets to communicating with the google servers, it says it cannot connect(when I try to sign in). So im stuck there. Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this that could help? Im not exactly sure where to check up on this.

I did the same thing and I did get it fixed. Now that you have 0.5 downloaded, flash back to 0.4 long enough to download the kernel. Download but don't install. Once you have that downloaded, boot to recovery, flash the v0.5 file and then flash the kernel. Reboot and Viola! I had the same problem you did but I still had 0.4 on the SD card. Flash back, download Toolbox, download the kernel, and then just flash to recovery and install both that way. Runs like a champ now........ Hope this helps!

Well I had my phone off overnight and just woke up and booted it and it booted right into Nandroid backup, lucky me. Gona restore back a couple days to .04, get the kernel then .05. Thanks

Anyone experience the reboot anytime the phone is put into their sock on.04? This is really annoying.

Haven't had any reboot issues. Did you wipe data when you flashed?

Smooth here too on 0.5. The v0.4 wasn't very good to me. Tons of force closes and my calendar didn't work at all. This build is MUCH more stable for me.

Does the sock have a magnet built in. It might be causing an issue if you don't have a car/media dock installed. Just thinking out of the box.

My first issue. After getting .595 and re-installing v.05 I go into the customizer which downloads the files needed(100/100) but then either one of two things happens
1. It hangs on Setting up files
2. Goes back to the allow files to downoad window which then the 100/100 starts over.

Been thru the cycle 3 times. So I reinstalled the updates(Liberty) from recovery properly and same thing.
Any ideas?

Not sure, I had to do it a few times on .04 but I haven't had time to flash to .05 yet. Have you tried downloading on wifi? Might make a difference if the download is getting interupted for some reason.

It does have the magnets but now in my problem solving methods I've found it reboots when I plug it into anything other than the car charger! Fml lol. Gonna try to clear batt stats plug it on while off and see if that works. Sounds good anyway.

I got it working. It just took a clean re-install of the toolbox thru Titanium and it al updated ok and Im back where I was. Ty

OK gentlemen quick question(s):

I have NEVER tried Liberty, but I been hearing alot of good things about it and I just saw the review in youtube. Now how do I get the latest Liberty?

I am currently running .591 GB. My guess is that I have to get .595 deodexed Rooted GB and then get the Liberty Donate version from the Market and flash the latest version? Which I think is Nightlies .05?

Edit:Ok I downloaded .595 and its currently sitting on my SD Card, I have also bought the Donate Liberty Toolbox Version...now what?
Flash .595 and then go to ROM Manager on Liberty and then Nightites? But which on the Nightites do I install? I see two options on the CURRENT NIGHTLY section.
