Go to http://sites.google.com/site/1kdsdroidx/ and download the files for your computer. Then you will need to go to http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-rooted-help/100038-complete-droid-x-sbf-flashing-guide.html for the directions. It's not as hard as it looks. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine.

Forgive my foolishness but I still have a question. If I am running the rooted GB 2.3.3 I have downloaded the liberty paid toolbox. can I flash liberty GB v0.1 or do I need to SBF back to froyo? Just want to be sure before I do it and brick or have to be stressed about fixing issues lol.

There is a build for GB in the toolbox. Just make sure you use the right one and clear data and you should be good.

Awesome yeah I see the option that says use if you are already on GB. I am going to give it a shot! Sorry for the noobish questions I am new to android and new to mods/roms. I love it but I am just making sure I dont mess anything up.

What happen to the stock Gingerbread dock?

Well Liberty for GB .01 went thru no issues. Everything backed up and is running fine..but the number battery zip from Wildman the other day didnt flash(for the guy who wanted his 1x,3g,4g icons)

The file with the number battery was made for MetaMorph... This may its not working on Liberty..

Haha Oh man, I tried to install the gingerbread Black theme from the liberty toolbox donate rom section. I choose to wipe and backup, now my phone is looping at the first liberty load up screen. now what?

Those themes are for Liberty 1.5 & 2.0 won't work with Liberty GB. Need to load a backup from recovery or sbf.

Yeah I am sbf'n right now. I tried to restore backup but it said that there were no files

At least I know how to do this stuff now so that is good. I will just be more careful next time. Flashing back to gingerbread liberty instantly tho haha. Has the OTA for gingerbread been pushed out tho?

No, not yet. Glad you're getting the hang of it. It's easy once you've done it a few times. Fyi, you will need to sbf to use the ota when it drops.

the gingerbread keyboard by steve lin in the market works wonderfully in liberty gb. the multi touch keyboard was way too laggy. if anyones interested

I flashed v0.4 last night and I must say it is amazing. Thanks to jedi and everyone else who helped me understand the process. What I finally did was installed GB rooted, and then turned off USB debugging. used the tool box to back up and clear data and boosh it installed no issues at all. I am loving the ROM Jrummy and the liberty boys are doing amazing things. I hope they fix the few minor issues soon and it goes live. EVERYONE needs this lol.
Thanks again to everyone who posted and put up info it really helped a 2 week old droid user realize the potential of my device.

Running 0.4 now. Great build! Much faster than 0.3. Haven't found any bugs yet. And it looks like liberty now.
