Links in emails not followed

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Tab Active and Galaxy Tab 7 and in all of them use the Yahoo Mail app for emails. If an email is received with a link to web address, the link works properly in the Not 8 and Tab Active but there is no response to the link on the Tab 7. I have checked that the settings are the same on all three devices.

What is causing this? In effect the Tab 7 is unusable because of this. Help, please!

Welcome to Android Central! Does the Yahoo Mail app have a setting to open links in app vs in external browser? What's your app set to?
