List new things you noticed after update

How is everyone's 4g data speeds with gingerbread now compared to froyos speed. Also has anyone had any reboots with stock gingerbread?

yes, I had ONE reboot since I did the GB update.. But that is better than 6+ a day..

Yeah there is definitely Better Battery Management. I noticed a huge Difference with the battery (Stock)

I wanted to calibrate my battery. So I planned on draining the battery till the phone was 100% dead, then charge it to 100% full. I unplugged my phone at 430 am yesterday, I turned on the GPS, Nav, blue youth, Wifi & screen to full brightness, I used it all day nonstop.. If I couldn't use it, I turned on the google GPS to make it die fast.. Well 3 am this morning in died. I had 18 hours if use & 4 of stand by time when I looked right before it was dead.. This us with an extended battery & GB.. With froyo, my phone would have gone dead 100% in about 16-18 hours total.. Including stand by but with nothing running & moderate use.. I bet if I use my phone normal i, might get about 36 hours out of it. Which us incredible. So the GB update deff helped with battery life..

It is no longer available. They are fixing the voice mail bug.

Did anyone else notice that the text in the Weather and Clock apps got a lot bigger? It's really unsightly in my opinion and I don't know why they chose to do that.

Okay, so I took my phone off the charger at about 9:48 this morning, and it's currently 5:23, and I have 50% (stock) battery left. I kept 4G on all day (I have Juice Defender, but I'm not wholly convinced it actually does anything), and I basically just popped on every now and then to check e-mail and/ or browse the Internet. It seemed like it drained by about 1% for every minute I had the screen on.

Agreed, screen does seem sharper and color appear more vivid.

Does anyone know what happened to the clock app in the apps page? I don't use the HTC clock Widget.

Clock app was a casualty of GB OTA.

Yeah, I miss it too. But, I guess if you install only the clock portion of the Widget (no weather with it's associated updating/syncing) any additional battery drain would be negligible.

Battery usage display graph: Menu, Settings, About Phone, Battery, Battery use. At the top where it lists how long it's been running on battery, click that and it will show the graph.
