List of nexus 7 2013 problems

I haven't gotten my nexus yet, but I have a S3 and that thing reboots for no reason sometimes.

There's something wrong with it. I and my wife both have S3's on different carriers and have never had random reboots for the year we've had them.

The Nexus7 2013 random reboot issue is very real though. When I had mine, it would reboot (I caught it a few times doing the nexus X logo) w/o even using it. Same software as the old Nexus7 2012 so it wasn't a software issue.
Mine would also randomly drain the battery to zero and would need to be charged for a while before powering back up. The N7 2012 lasted longer w/ similar charge start times.
So two very real problems that bugged me enough to return it. I didn't hit the GPS issue because I didn't take it out of the house and didn't see the multitouch issue, but I'm always holding it, not using it one handed on a table...

Mine has a red spot (stuck pixels) on the screen a little smaller than a US penny. It's most noticeable when the screen is black. Waiting for replacement to arrive.

Try going to the bootloader screen and clearing the system cache; that might help with your reported space discrepancy issue.

In the past month of ownership I've had a few unexpected reboots. Might have been my fault in pushing apps too far. Read somewhere that this happens more to 16GB version than 32GB version. (mine is 16 GB) Seems to have gotten better over time. Perhaps the last release helped.
Not a big deal -- at this level of annoyance, not worth the effort of replacing

I've had my Nexus 7 - 2013 tablet for the last few weeks... And I am completely impressed with this Asus tablet.
Absolutely no issues with my device.

I have been playing with it for a few hours. Very solid and nice.

The only issue I've had is a slight audio stutter when changing from portrait to landscape views.

That's because the stereo speakers have to reorient themselves.

I haven't gotten my nexus yet, but I have a S3 and that thing reboots for no reason sometimes. The strange thing is it will do it 2 or 3 times in one day then it won't do it again for months. I just think it's a OS glitch. The GPS problems and the such I've been reading doesn't bother me as I am going to be using this mostly for ebooks for school.

You might have a faulty eMMC.. Mine died a few days ago.. Download this app and see how it goes.

I'm not having random reboots, but I am having random shutdowns. I'll hear a little chime and my device will simply power off. Maybe once or twice a week. Weird.

It will chime and shut down when the battery gets too low. That's normal.
