Live Wallpaper not working

I am very new to the Android OS, having come from an iPhone, and everything Mac. Please don't hate me

I have my new NC rooted and am trying to install some Live Wallpaper.

I go to the Market, selected a couple, downloaded them, they say they are downloaded, but where are they? I go to settings/home set wallpaper and they are no where to be found. What am I missing?

The ones I downloaded are Galactic Core, Aquarium Live, Snowfall Live, and I keep reading about the Android Core Live Wallpapers and can not find them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on stock rooted? If you are, I am not sure there is a way to access them in B&N's rom.

One thing you might try would be to install a home replacement app like ADW or LauncherPro and see if you can access it then. If you go this route, you can also install "Home Switcher." That will allow you to change quickly between the stock rom and the replacement app.

I'm assuming you haven't installed a new launcher, install a launcher; ADW is nice; Launcher Pro, Zeam, whatever. Then after installing, click on the home button, (the N at the bottom of the device), then select the launcher. (Normally I will just select the option to make this the default action, but thats if you want to always use the launcher). After selecting the launcher, hold down on the screen not on an icon. It will give you the option to change the wallpaper; you can select the new wallpaper there, I think there is an option for like gallery, live wallpaper and something else. Be forewarned, not all live wallpapers work. What I downloaded that I really like is the Nexus Revamped wallpaper. It has a lot of options in terms of colors and timing.

Thanks guys, I will give these apps a try. I did load Super Manager and was able to find a couple of them and get 2 to work. I just wish they were easier to get at they going to a root manager and trying them out.

I got Launcher Pro. I can hold on the main screen and it brings up the option to change Wallpaper. The dialect box is only for the regular wallpaper and gallary, no live wallpaper. Is there an easier way to get access to live wallpaper?

That should have pulled up the option. Try pressing the menu button, then choosing wallpaper. See if that works.

Also, have you tried rebooting?

I gt a message "app isn't installed". If I open the app drawer and select it, it runs fine. Im using rays_of_light. If I use the app and select apply I get "unfortunately, rays of light has stopped. Any suggestions?
