Most guides warn that LIVE WALLPAPERS ARE BAD!!! for batteries, but I haven't found much difference. Caveat: I haven't done a strict test; keep meaning to, but I'm forgetful. :)

I use the standard package "Japanese maple leaves on the water" wallpaper, FYI.

Thanks for the information. I am using the Aquarium live wallpaper. I am new to Android so I do not know many items.

HA HA. So funny.

One of the bonus's about having an android, is the live wallpaper....

But hey, there are standard wallpapers. (still use display power)

But really, live wallpaper is not truely appreciated on a phone. To truely appreciate a live wallpaper, one must have a tablet.

i'll sacrifice 6% battery power for the day, to have my "snowfall" ))))

The stock love wallpapers aren't too bad for battery drain. But some of the ones you download on the market are bad and you will notice a judge drop on battery performance.

Most are not going to cause a huge drain of battery. You won't notice it. I read somewhere it drains as much battery as a 3 minute phone call would a day. I use live wallpapers all the time and notice no significant battery drain.
