not sure why its occuring. but switching between landscape, portrait modes or allowing phone to time out to lockscreen causes live wallpapers to stop functioning properly. may as well delete the live wallpaper picker because its useless with this occuring on every wallpaper you use. is this rom issues or something else? can't recall this issue on stock, then again it may have been there and i just never had it occur under paticular circumstances.

Yep Hated them same prob.. No live no mo.. Some do some don't for me.. before this rom and stock.. Just use wallpaper now here and use the ounce of caution I saved up after rooting as I tire of being the executioner of poor apps and the like on my handset personally.. :)

That said if I was testing it out as I am sure you are.. Seems a overclocking and then try and free up some cache for it would be where me nose would take me 1st.. May be a check mark in there somewhere that fixes it?? Reinstall if all else fails.. Sd card vs internal?? My handset does weird things sometime on the switch to and from landscape if I am stressing it out with a new app or it's loaded up.... That dont happen no mo :) Looking very forward to the 1.2 GHz Dualcore /w 1GHz of ram the Evo V will deliver and go on to rule the universe from beyond the OV or at least be able to run a decent live wallpaper and have no glitching.. Peace

i always leave live wallpapers and widgets on internal memory. ive freed up as much internal as i can without crashing completely by deleting every single app i dont think id ever use or isnt system specific.thought of changing vm heap, but in the end just deleted the live wallpaper picker from apps. every forum i read about it on was pretty much non-specific with some guessing roms or some guessing bad build of wallpaper and on others some suggesting memory available as culprit. and it doesnt appear to be ov specific. happening on a number of devices.

Yepper even a rooted caveman should know that and I do on the update ;) Excellent advice the whole family should live by on the update (No no no).. But the Evo pill will fix that I hope with a whole new set of rom probs to solve and buttons not to push.. Can't wait jez.. Should make a thread where you have to use EVO in as many words possible in your posts just to show you want it bad enough.. Yes I'm that bored.. Man if LeslieAnn hasn't got a fix for it I say run away lol Oh joy.. Just got he new terms of service sent to me by VM.. Special

It's the wallpaper.
I have one that will consistently crash on the OV, but runs perfect on the Evo 4G.
My guess is that they are probably using something on the backend such as an ARM 7 code,
The ones crashing are probably all using the same base code.

Yes I'm looking forward to being overwhelmed with the room and speed on the evo vs ov..
Is the ARM 7 code a radio update?? Haven't gotten to the arms yet still trying to grow a brain ;)
