location stock levels..

got my upgrade transferred from a richmond va store to a harrisonburg va store. not sure about the richmond store but the harrisonburg store said they have lots in stock and plenty for people who didnt pre-order. when i asked how many is plenty the guy said with a big grin "a LOT!". i thought it was funny. my cousin was considering getting it but isnt sure yet and when i asked the best buy sales person if he thinks there will be enough for him to walk in and get one he said "your cousin has nothing to worry about."

I'm not getting the feeling supply is going to be an issue in my area...I got the call from Best Buy and made my appointment with them, but called a BJs that has a Verizon Corporate Store inhouse and he said if I'm there when they open there shouldn't be any problem. And then he took my name and said he would hold one for me.

I prefer to get the phone through a corporate store as that way I can do it on a one-year contract with a new line. Cheaper than full retail....

9AM Indianapolis College Park. 20 in stock. BONIN'. If anyone from the Indy area hits this one up and sees a freakishly tall man... feel free to say hello ;)

i spoke to someone from a nearby verizon from me and they said they'd have around 100 TBs in stock, so certainly wont sell out...

This is nuts my local BB just told me that I don't need an appointment because only 5 people pre-ordered, they said I can just come in the morning and pick it up. and I live in N.Y.C. I Hope I don't walk in that store tomorrow and they say they have no phones man ..grrrr

Mine wouldn't tell me how many they had but they emhatically said they will have one for me if I wanted it.

well, we'll know for sure tomorrow... but it certainly doesnt seem like it'll sell out... i just dont think i can wait any longer for another phone, so i'll just bite on this one and hope the battery life is satisfactory

What will suck is if I walk into my VZW and they're like "LOLZ WE JUST SOLDz0R it OuT!!! lawl!" and then I go to order online and its like " LAWL SOLD OUT SUckzzzaaa!"

My backup plan? A bottle of whiskey, some coke (the drink), and a hooker. Dunno, I may have to use my money sparingly, so in that case the whiskey will have to go.

Our Best Buy was still taking pre-orders this afternoon. Not sure what that means regarding stock they received, but being in a non-4G area I'm sure there's not an overwhelming demand right now.

20 doesn't seem like a lot for a store in Chi-town. ;)

I think I will be out front of my vzw store an hour before open.

20 for my store on the northside of Indy. I plan on being there an hour early too. Maybe i'll call up some local news stations and tell them about the MADNESS going on just so I can get on TV.

Not simply to play Devils Advocate here but I seriously doubt this will be anything like any of the big recent "Fruit" launches. I'm going to get this phone myself, I'm very exicted about its capabilities. However, this phone is quite a bit more of an enthusiasts/early adpoter type of phone compared to the Fruit.

I live in a major metro area, rife with plenty of money and early adopters. My Best Buy has a whopping 2 people ahead of me for appointments to pick up their TBs. Whoopie.

In fact I'd be willing to bet there are little to no lines outside the VZW stores tomorrow morning. TB fans would rather pre-order, mail order, etc. rather than partake in the "social event" of waiting in a Fruit line.

Just my humble opinions...
