Lock Screen brightness at night - any way to Dim while charging?

I like the appearance of my Lock Screen when it is not being charged. But at night when I am typically charging my phone, the display changes to a very bold font and is bright - so bright I could use it as a flashlight. Lol. Is there any way to change this?

You can use Bixby Routines to change the brightness to the min level when charging.

Thanks. I guess I need to figure out how useful Bixby is. I got the impression it was hit or miss on that, and the Google Assistant could do most things.

Bixby can do a lot that Assistant can't in terms of changing phone settings (something Assistant doesn't have access to). Basically if it has to do with automating settings and app actions ON YOUR PHONE, go with Bixby. If it's automating something with a command that mostly happens in the cloud, go with Assistant.

If you have Adaptive Brightness on, it will dim under low light.
