Lock screen changes rotation of picture! help!

When I try to set a picture on my lock screen i want it rotated a certain way. When I rotate it in my photos then try and set it as the lock screen backgroung it switches back to how it was first saved on my phone. No I'm not using the accelerometer for rotation I actually click the rotate button.
Anyone know whats going on here?

should I try rotating it via my computer then resaving it to my sd card then try and set it? or does the hero just automatically rotate the lock screen picture however it sees fit?

never mind figured it out. you have to rotate it via your computer cause the hero doesn't rotate it on the sd card it only rotates it kinda saved to the phone it doesn't actually save the rotation of the picture...
