Lock screen issue

I edited my lock screen and changed the mail icon for the FaceBook one and the phone dissapeared? now I can't find it to put it back on!

EDIT: thats the icon I used the most! please help

yes, just fixed it... it was an htc issue, someone guided me step by step and problem solve...

Care to share? I had that issue too a few days back..........ended up doing a factory reset Perhaps it will help someone else.

Yes . . same thing happened to me . . would like to hear about the solution. I ended up downloading another contact/phone app (GO Dialer Ex), but would rather just have the original phone app/icon on there.

I went to this site: [APK] Dialer Shortcut (for missing lockscreen dialer shortcuts) - xda-developers

To install the dialer.apk, download a file manager like Astro.
Enable non-Market downloads by checking Unknown sources under Apllications in settings.
Copy the dialer.apk to your SD card.
Open the file manager and navigate to the file on your SD card and select it.
A message should pop up asking if you want to install it.
