Can anybody tell me how to incorporate a custom lock screen into my rom? i really just need to know where to find it, and what its called if its named somethin crazy. Also does it matter if you try to use a lock screen from another firmware build? for instance my brother in law is running 2.0 firmware and i'm running 1.6 can i steal the lock screen out of his rom, add it to mine, then resign and flash it?

Short answer, no.


Flash a different style ROM like Eclair or AOSP depending on what device you have.

Or you can get a lockscreen replacement like LockBot
