LockScreen Notifications

Hello everyone !
I am note 4 user, new to android platform.*
I love using the finger print scanner to unlock my phone. However, doing so I am unable to see any notification on my lock Screen. It just shows alerts, that you got so and so message or mail.*

So wanted to know is there any way around to be able to see the notification along with the fingerprint scanner lock.*

Offhand, I am not sure. I can ask around, but it is kind of late, and answers may not be posted until morning.

I assume you want to be able to pull down the notification bar to expand notifications, right?

Well, that's why I disabled the finger print lock. If you have a secure lockscreen you can't expand the notification bar unless you first unlock the phone.

Its for your safety dude...why would you want to see important information, even with the phone locked.

I kind of want to lock my phone and still be able to read/preview my notifications
Down the line u get irritated while scanning ur finger again and again.

Well I guess to maintain security .... usability is always something on which we need to comporamise
