Lollipop - Factory Reset issue

So I downloaded Lollipop. Had issues with text apps and FM radio, so decided to do a factory reset. Pain in the ****, but text apps work and so does FM (found there was a new apk for Lollipop vs KitKat).

The challenge I am having now, is that every time I restart the phone - which I like to do every few days - upon rebooting, it optimizes my apps...all 266 of them. WTH? Any ideas? Advice?

125 views... no replies? Is no one having/had this issue?

Also, find it funny that the word **** got edited out. HA. I've seen worse in the forums here! ;-)

I had the same problem after installing update prior to doing factory reset, was taking 30 minutes to reboot the phone, optimizing 257 apps and draining my battery from full to half.
I had to go to recovery and do factory restore from there and it seems it solved that issue.

Apprecaite the reply.

I actually had the issue AFTER the factory reset.

All seems to have settled in nicely though now. Not seeing that issue on the last few reboots.

I've noticed this whole lollipop update consisted of 3-4 updates, could be why it was updating every time.
