Lollipop has destroyed my phone, how can I get it working better?

Lollipop has destroyed my phone :'(

My phone was perfect, everything worked really fast how I wanted to.... Now it's horrific since I got lollipop, constantly comes up saying 'contacts not working' when I go in txts or anywhere, keeps crashing and now I can't even use BBC I player as they r waiting for a fix, how long until all this is sorted, its driving me mad
