lollipop or marshmallow?

I have a 5.0.2 on my phone and was waiting for 5.1. But since its already out that 2014 moto g will get marshmallow. Maybe by January. Would i be getting a lollipop 5.1 next or a marshmallow 6 update straightaway?

If you didn't get 5.1 you will go straight to Mashmallow.

Dont know if its for sure, but Cricket (where my idol came from) says it will probably not be updated to 6.

I was wondering the same thing so I looked on the Motorola website. It said "pending partner support".

I have already got the update.
Honestly, i didnt find it better than lollipop. Phone hangs a lot, the battery drains quickly.
I should have waited for some reviews before updating my phone to marshmallow coz of my excitement of having the latest version.

I couldn't resist and flashed CM13 right away, so far it's faster and battery is way better, just noticed a small bug in the scroll of recent apps... I think I should of have waited for the official 6.0 haha
