Lollipop OTA not yet offered

You should do a manual update yourself. I did that with my Nexus 5. Fresh install of factory image (yes, you lose your data, but you'll have a fresh install experience). Couldn't wait for the OTA. Not sure it would have turned out as well anyway.

I just did that and I love it! After the factory image of lollipop 5.0.1 was installed I set up my google account it downloaded all my apps and wow lollipop is fast lol.

I like the 2 finger pull down quick settings. Yeah. I'd like a battery percentage too. It shows up perfectly how I want while charging, though. Maybe someone will make a small app that will enable it that way.

Yes. I like being able to read enough to decide to unlock my phone or not.

I don't like the feature where you unlock the phone and it takes you to phone app

Slide up and it just unlocks normally. Slide left to right and it goes to the phone app.
