Lollipop silent mode alarms not working

Had same issue. I noticed once before when my Bluetooth device was on I was watching a YouTube video. I noticed I couldn't hear the sound but I could hear something coming from the kitchen. My Bluetooth device was on and it was sitting on my kitchen counter. The same goes for the alarm. If your Bluetooth device is still on the alarm is going to play through that instead of your phone. Simple fix, turn off your Bluetooth headset before you go to sleep.
