Thanks Joe. That explains it, your Note 4 is Italian international model, that's why it got updated yesterday.

I bought my Note 4 910C about 3 weeks ago while i was abroad, as soon as i turned on the phone, i got an update which then later prompted me that i have a lollipop update as well. It's so funny because the phone model is a UAE model and i got the lollipop update while i was on holidays in Pakistan. Been using and loving it ever since.

Haha I was wondering why one of my Samsung apps is in Italian 😂😂

I got this update about three weeks ago. I have a Vodafone Note4 but I know it was unlocked.

Your phone would still have VFG in its code even if was originally on Vodafone and unlocked at a later date, that's why it was updated. UK "BTU" models are the only ones still waiting for Lollipop, but I'm in no hurry for it.

Got 5.0.1 last night UK sim free Note 4

Based on this screen shot can you tell me where my phone originates from? As I can't see anywhere that says btu. I brought it new from EE but am yet to receive an update. Thanks

Saw a few users over at XDA saying they were getting it then tried my phone and would you believe it!

979MB download.

Thunder Birds are GO! Downloading :)

Once updated let us try to keep this thread going so that we can assist one another if there are issues. Good luck people we are going in!

Ok so it's been 48hrs with lollipop. Have to say I'm not impressed. I think Kk is much better /smoother transitions. The lock screen notifications look dumb. And generally just not as snappy as Kk. Also battery is getting warm while charging. This thing was cool as cucumber until I updated. Am I being too hasty? Should I let the kernel settle etc before going back to Kk? Does anyone know of any modified stock roms? I don't want to lose functionality of the sacred s pen lol

I have heard of people doing a factory reset but tbh I can't be arsed with setting everything up again
