Longer Alarms in Note8, google calendars than the split second ones

I had note2..by the way I used it for 6 years and it still works like a charm!!..had the optionm of setting any long tune to my reminders. This would work like an alarm so I dont miss any reminder. But now I have Note8 and this facility is not available. It has sounds that last less than 1 second. I forget to see my notifications in time. An alarm would be of great help I am talking about Galaxy Note 8 in India and 8.0.0 oreo thanks
