Bought glass screen protectors for my wife and I on amazon
Amazon.com: Galaxy S6 Screen Protector, amFilm Tempered Glass (Front) and PET (Back) Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S6 (NOT S6 Edge) with Lifetime Replacement Warranty (1-Pack) [in Retail Packaging]: Cell Phones & Accessories

Problem is they are too narrow and too short. I realize its a little crooked but its still too small. Has anyone found one that covers the bottom of the button and isnt too narrow?

Pics below are of my GS6 taken with my wifes GS6.

The glass on the phone has a hardness of about 6.7. The glass protector has a hardness of about 6.8. So the scratch resistance is about the same. (And what scratches screens is sub-microscopic carbide particles - with a hardness of 9.) the difference is that Gorilla Glass shatters or spiders, tempered glass crumbles. But drop the phone face down on a hard stone and both the protector and the glass on the screen will break.

Use a shock-absorbing case (TPU or, if you want real protection, an Otterbox Defender), and the screen won't get shocked and, unless you drop it on a pebble face down, the screen will never touch the ground. (If you do have to wipe the screen clean, use a non-vinegar, non-ammonia glass cleaner (like eyeglass cleaner), spray it very lightly on a microfiber cloth and wipe very gently. The wetness will tend to roll particles off the screen, rather than drag them across it (scratching it) and the cleaner will clean off fingerprints. And the case is pretty dust-resistant. (It wouldn't have survived the dust bowl, but neither did most things, including living ones.)

I think most that I have seen don't go all the way to the edges but that shouldn't be a problem if you have a thin case on there as well. I am thinking about getting the Verizon glass screen protector but was waiting to see if anyone had a picture of it on their phone. Would be nice if they made a nice back glass protector because eventually I'd like to go case less on the weekends and such.

Yours actually looks a lot better than some of the other (less expensive) ones I have seen. Doesn't seem to have the halo effect others have.

Problem is its just too small. It looks bad to me. No matter how much I move it around its just too narrow and it doesn't fit the display.

If you end up getting the verizon one please take a pic and add it so we can see it.

Sorry for the picture quality had to use an old phone. It's a lot smaller than I'd like it to be. Even with my case on it there is still a bit of room left open. Thinking I might take it back. Also has a little halo effect but he said that will go away in a day. 11118314_10202661738784694_1197190683_n.jpg11122443_10202661738904697_488509168_n.jpg

@dirt444 what is halo effect? People always talk about it but I have no idea what it is.

Yeah yours is too small too. Sams club sells some. I might get one and see how it fits.

That is the area around the edges that looks like it's lifting up. Yours actually looks a lot better. I asked the Verizon rep if they could position mine lower and they said it needs to be as far away from the home button as possible. Do you have any issue with the home button since it sits right above it?
