--Easy access to the mp3 player
---Small

Would likes
-ability to get a gps fix with data turned off/airplane mode
--Nice active background or the ability to install one
---good built in terminal emulator
----Hacker's Keyboard, It feels better for me

Don't wants
Any thing that says att/amazon/whatever consumer orientated bs

I have already rooted the phone using Odin and figured how to run Ubuntu on it so far. Guides are a great thing so if any one has any good how to's for this monster of a phone let me know.

Baked rom, it's my personal favorite. I think they're on black bean 8?you might need to download an mp3 player app, I'm not sure it has one (but for a lot of roms that's the case). Google music will work though. It has a terminal emulator, and theme installer. It can also run mx player pro and has no bloatware. If you do install it make a backup of your current rom in case you want to go back to it if you don't like it. Oh, and use goo manager to install it (it's super easy that way) and get the proper gapps for jelly bean 4.2.2 to have Google play and stuff

Baked rom would be good or even Cyanogenmod if you want more of a basic rom that you can customize yourself. Check out the AT&T Galaxy S3 forum on XDA-Developers. You should find a rom there to suit your needs.
