with everything there are pros and cons. i enjoy the a500 havent had any issues minus a wifi glitch 1 time but a reset fixed that really quick. the only thing i would have liked better is a longer power cord and that sliding epad that the transformer has is nice. but all in all nice tablet

A longer charger cord would have been nice, but clearly, you don't own a more recent HTC product. Charger doubles as the usb cable. Talk about short!!!!! 1.2ft max!!!

If your this late to pick up a tegra 2 tablet you may wanna wait for the tegra 3 ones coming out soon Asus is dropping one in December

Do you blue tooth to a Droid phone for WiFi? Trying to get that to work Easy tether with cable worked great on netbook but wanting to do away with cable if I can/

I don't use bluetooth to tether. I have a HTC Inspire rooted with CM7, and just turn it into a wifi hotspot. CM7 seeems to be one of the only ROMs that turns off the carrier lock on this feature.

The A500 will not bluetooth tether to a phone as far as I know out of the box. I have mine rooted and have a custom rom (thor2002 - tegraowners.com) that allows for BT tethering, and it works great with my non-rooted, stock Droid X. I believe that's the only rom for the a500 that allows for bt tethering w/o any other hacking.

Had mine for 7 months now and love it to bits. My local store had the new Galaxy Tab 10" and I was curious to have a look, the Galaxy Tab looked and felt so much nicer, but no way in a million years is it worth the extra money for a tablet that is essentially the same. I'll keep to my brilliant A500 thankyou

I bought one for me and one for my wife and we are both very happy with our tablets. My wife uses it more than me but it's a nice product and having the full size USB port is a must have. Thinking about rooting mine.

Wondering what everyone's feeling is about this tablet. Trying to decide between this and the asus transformer.

I love mine. I would not trade it for an ipad. Has all connections you need. I'm a guy who paid full price the week they launched this thing. $450.00 plus tax! If you like fredom and not restrictions like ipad, then get one. Ipad's need extra hookups to alot of what you can do with this.
