Looking forward to new Note 9 512 GB

Today I could not resist to pull the trigger on a very good deal: a brand new Note 9 with 512 GB storage for 499 Euro.

For about half of the price of the newer model last year' s flagship has (in my opinion) some further advantages:

1) No camera hole in the display
2) Faster fingerprint reader
3) Iris scanner
4) Headphone jack
5) No vibration caused by built in speakers

For my personal needs it's the better device. I can't await to get it delivered next week

You're going to love this phone. I had the Note 4 which was a super phone. I then moved to a Pixel 2 which was an OK phone but in IMHO a downgrade from the Note phone. I then purchased the Note 9 (got the $400 off deal from Verizon) and it has been bulletproof.This phone is so good I feel no need to upgrade to the latest Note. I'm going to keep this thing until it turns to powder.

Agree with Mustang7757, Its SOLID, and more bang for the buck as any phone out there. I switch back to it every couple weeks just for fun.

Right from the get-go, I had absolutely no desire or itch to jump from the Note 9 to the 10+... as the 9 is such a rock solid, excellent phone, in virtually EVERY aspect of current phones. And the current pricing is so enticing, the OP did fine in ordering the heavy hitter, 512 GB version. I rock my phone very heavy, over 50+ gigs of usage each month plus many phone calls, the 9 has not missed a beat in the ten months I've had it.

Speaking of notification...note 9 has a dedicated LED. That is big for me.

Yes the LED... the Note 9 ist really what You can call a full fledged flagship. It has nearly every feature someone can ask for.

Having set up and used the Note for a few days I must say battery life is very good. Coming from a very solid running S9 Plus, which I had for 18 Months, I had to keep a little bit an eye on battery and storage. With the Note 9 512 GB both is not necessary any more.

One can say the Note 9 is a similar experience like the S9 Plus, but with a little more " headroom"
