i bought a used sprint galaxy s2 epic 4g touch. the screen and back are in perfect shape.

there is damage on 3 corners (i have the white, so this area is silver plastic)
it seems pretty easy to replace, but i have no idea what to search for because i don't know what this piece is called or if it is available anywhere

Hmm... bezel? Frame? Not sure either.

Thank you,i couldnt remember the name for it.ended up buying a black bezel housing from ebay.i like it better than the silver bezel that came with the phone and it will hide scratches better

It isn't plastic under there. The outer edge is metal and it looks to be one piece.

Just put a case on it and call it a day. No need to remove the bezel and start pulling the phone apart. There are some simple black cases that will do the trick just fine for no more than $10.

I agree.. get a diztronic case from amazon for 10 bucks, sand it cures your problems. Its nice and sleek, you'll barely notice the difference

i have a diztronic case, but i like to go without a case if i can. it was kind of a pain in the butt to swap out the bezel because the clips on the bottom were extra strong. also a little tricky to get the headphone jack to lineup. the results are very nice. gotten a few compliments on it

Nice job. Does look pretty good. Glad you were able to work it out.
