Yeah well this forum is awesome and I was just frustrated about this issue because call quality is important to me.

No worries! We all have some sort of phone addiction. I change my mind about phones faster then I change my shoes. We are caring forum citizens so it is all good. Phone issues come and go but forum members will always be nasty...er helpful!

I guess every subculture has elitist. I would've never thought of camera forums, but I can totally see that.

Have you checked your network settings, yet. My LG phones always seem to default to Global, which can cause issues.

OMG.... You have no idea how splintered the camera enthusiasts are.... Not only brand but the various types and models, lenses methodology.... Ugh

It's a public forum. Like in any other public group setting, some people you like, some get on your nerves, and then tolerate the rest. Discussions are fine and raising points and having differences of thought and opinion has nothing to do with being nasty. Now YouTube and Twitter comments, that is nasty.

YouTube and Twitter are basically a platform for online bullying. Doesn't matter if you have a good point, video, opinion, tip etc etc people are queuing up to troll

Just trying to figure out what could cause the problem as it didn't happen before I used that case.

Is it actual poor reception with the case on (signal bars dropping) or is it maybe the case covering one of the mics (top and bottom of phone)?

Or just do a simple test with and without. It will surely tell you if it is the case. Otterboxes are a bit bulky so it can cover the mics. Do let us know one way or another.

Victory!!! I'm back!

It turns out it was defective! I exchanged it. There was a bit of a hiccup in my account but it got fixed. I'm back with my awesome LG G6 and the Otter box is back on it.
