Lost my S pen

I need to get rid of the pen icon in the top left corner of my screen

Try turning off s-pen detection in settings.

That's what I would do as I use my s-pen a lot. Found them for sale on samsung's website for $30 - I'm sure you can get cheaper options elsewhere but I don't know (or think) they would do all the stuff the genuine s-pen does.
