Lost sound notifications after upgrades

After upgrades of Yahoo Mail and EBay apps, I no longer get any audio notifications of new messages or sales. I didn't see any setting in each app for this. The Nexus setting is on for notifications with the default sound. Am I missing another place to check or do I have to contact the app developer?

Did you make sure the applications automatically sync? You should contact the developer and tell them. Maybe a simple reboot will solve the problem, or try turning off sync and on.
